Pilates

Pilates has many benefits and uses your body’s own resistance to improve muscle tone, flexibility and posture. Pilates improves posture and circulation, if practiced on a regular basis. Some classes use resistance equipment to add that further challenge to the low impact workout for example bands, balls, foam rollers etc. Pilates can be used in conjunction with a weight loss program combined with diet, swimming, cycling or walking for example.

If you are recovering from injury then Pilates can help aiding in your rehabilitation maybe in conjunction with your physiotherapist/osteopath or chiropractor.

Are you having a baby or have had a baby recently? If so, Pilates can help with getting back into shape and improving the pelvic floor and tummy muscles. Please see the pregnancy and Pilates page.

Group classes of up to 12 people, 121’s, duets and trio lessons are all available by booking in advance.
