Pilates Classes

At The Chatsworth Studio, we offer a range of Pilates matwork classes, from beginner to advanced, as well as Studio Equipment across group, private 121 and duet lessons. We also offer pre & post-natal and mum & babies’ classes. Whether you have no previous experience or an extensive knowledge of Pilates, we have classes to suit your needs. Our Pilates teachers have all undertaken qualifications with the prestigious Body Control Pilates, incorporating anatomy work with hours of supervised teaching to ensure they meet a high standard for you, to help you achieve your goals.


Group classes have a maximum of 6 people for Matwork and 4 for Studio Reformer. Classes are booked monthly. Beginners are recommended to attend a small studio class or private 121 to learn the fundamentals of Pilates so that they can gain the most out of a Beginner & Improver mixed ability group class. Class Types


Our Matwork classes are small, boutique classes with a maximum of 6 people. These classes are perfect for those who are generally fit and well with no serious injuries and who enjoy the social environment of a class setting, at a set time each week. Our matwork classes run weekly across all levels, from Beginner & Improver to Intermediate & Advanced. Some classes also use small equipment including pilates rings, bands, balls, light hand weights and foam rollers to add a further challenge to your workout.


Pre & Post-Natal

Our Pre & Post-Natal group sessions are small classes designed to support your body throughout pregnancy, keeping you in a good physical condition to prepare you for childbirth, as well as bringing your body back into alignment and tone after childbirth. These classes cater for all levels of fitness, and we tailor each class specifically for this phase in your life for a safe and effective workout. Pre-natal clients are welcome to join from 12 weeks of pregnancy. Post-natal clients are suggested to join back in slowly 6-8 weeks post-partum following sign-off at your healthcare check-up, with the consent of your doctor/midwife.


Mum’s & Babies

We also offer small Mum & Baby classes for those who wish to come along to Pilates classes and don’t always have someone to look after their little one. For the class it is recommended to bring along either a car seat and/or play mats/toys for the baby to keep them entertained.


Studio Equipment

We offer a variety of equipment-based classes at the studio, including: 

  • Reformer
  • Wunda Chair
  • Tower Cadillac (Cadillac)
  • Jumpboard

These classes have a maximum of 3 people and are designed to add extra resistance to your workout, and help to improve your strength, flexibility, and balance, as well as co-ordination, posture, and body alignment. Studio Equipment classes are very popular at our studio, helping you take your Pilates practice to the next level. 


Private 121 & Duets

We offer dedicated private 121 and duet lessons both in mat and equipment. These sessions are completely tailored to you and your goals and provide a more attentive setting to focus solely on you and your practice. Private 121 and duet classes are also recommended for injury rehabilitation, so we can focus on building strength and help you to recover from your injury safely in a one-on-one environment.
