BarreConcept with Michelle Jarman

Friday mornings at 10.30am  are a brand new BarreConcept class! The classes are a fun and exciting hour long class, ideal for beginners and people that have done a class before. It is good for strength, stamina and cardio. Ideal class to team with a pilates, yoga or a meditation class.

BarreConcept is the hottest new workout spreading the globe with a celebrity following. Set to high energy music, this method combines the precision of Pilates, alignment of yoga, technique of ballet and strength from sports conditioning to make for a dynamic workout that lifts the butt, tones the thighs, sculpts the arms and burns fat.

About Michelle Jarman

As a child she was a student at Laine Theatre Arts, Epsom where she enjoyed modern dance, ballet and singing classes. Michelle went on to become a professional singer and also taught singing lessons and ran a school choir. Exercising has always been part of my life, especially group exercise classes.

A few years ago Michelle received a back injury and her physiotherapist recommended a Pilates course. I loved the feeling of really thinking through my movements and connecting with my body. After a while she wanted to find a class where she could still feel connected but have a more energetic approach. BarreConcept ticks all the boxes and is the reason Michelle became a qualified fitness instructor, loving the combination of Pilates moves and ballet exercises and the feeling that I have achieved a full body workout in a safe, connected way.
